It's only been a day since the tragic news broke out of the passing (July 20, 2017) of undoubtedly one of music's greats, Chester Bennington. It definitely came as a shocker to people all over the world. Especially how it happened.

Chester Bennington, together with Mike Shinoda, are the lead vocals of the multi-awarded band Linkin Park. The group was formed in 1996 but rose to fame with their debut album Hybrid Theory in 2000.

It would be safe to say their songs and lyrics impacted and influenced a lot of people's lives. I, for one, would have my stereo on full blast and play their songs on repeat whenever I was.. well.. having a rough day. Whether you're a fan of the band and rock music or not, I'm sure you'd agree with me that they produced top quality tracks.

Linkin Park was set to perform live here in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena this coming September 2017 for their One More Light World Tour. It's really heartbreaking that we won't see him perform. Details and changes regarding the tour are yet to be announced.

Here are a few videos of some of their hits without the music to highlight his vocals.

Thank you for sharing your talents to the world. You truly will be missed. May you rest in peace.
